The Father Bressani Eagles Rugby teams soar again! Building upon last year’s success, the Eagles had over 45 boys on three teams compete for this years YRAA Rugby 7’s Championship. The Senior Boys team had an exceptional season, capturing a YRAA Silver Medal. The Junior team excelled when it counted the most, lead by league leading try scorer Chippy, were awarded the YRAA Champions! Congratulations to all of our Eagle athletes and coaches Mr. Belsito, Ms. Filipe, Mr. Redigonda and Mr. Zambito.
In a feat never before accomplished at Father Bressani, our tennis team had the best finish ever. In the regional competition, the Eagles won 4 of 5 divisions and advanced to the championship. On the championship day our Junior Mixed Doubles team of Erica and Antony and our Senior Mixed Doubles team of Vlad and Natalia both won the YRAA Championships.
