Grade 12 Student Benjamin Goloubov Wins Major Scholarships

Grade 12 AP student Benjamin Goloubov has been awarded the Dr. Iris May Marsh Memorial Award, a Queen’s Major Admission Award valued at $48,000. This award recognizes superior academic ability, proven leadership qualities, original/creative thinking, and involvement in the life of his school and community. Benjamin is one of four students selected to receive this award, from the 950+ students who applied for a Major Admission Award.
Benjamin is also one of 160 students recognized as a Horatio Alger Canadian Scholar, from the thousands of applications received by the Association. He has been awarded the $5,000 scholarship on the basis of demonstrated integrity and perseverance in overcoming adversity, a commitment to pursue post-secondary education, community involvement, and a superior academic record.
